Cast Guidance

A supported starting point for understanding your dog…and what comes next.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure what kind of support your dog actually needs — this is the place to begin. Guidance is a consultation plus a short-term coaching plan designed to help you make sense of what’s happening with your dog, identify the real friction points in daily life, and build a clear, humane plan forward.

Rather than guessing which class, program, or approach is “right,” we slow things down just enough to look at:

  • what your dog is communicating

  • what’s getting in the way

  • and what kind of support will actually help

Some families use Guidance to refine management and move forward on their own. Others use it as a bridge into group programs, ongoing support, or skill-building work. Either way, it’s designed to give you clarity — not lock you into anything.

What Guidance includes:

Guidance includes:

  • A comprehensive consultation to understand your dog, your goals, and current challenges

  • A clear, practical plan tailored to your household and capacity

Cast with Advantage and add:

  • One month of coaching support while you put that plan into practice

  • Space to ask questions, adjust, and make sense of what you’re seeing

This is intentionally time-bound — the goal is clarity and momentum, not dependence.

What comes after Guidance?

At the end of Guidance, we’ll decide together what support — if any — makes sense next. That might include:

  • Transitioning into a group program if your needs align with an upcoming cohort

  • Continuing with a private membership (Wayfinder) if you need deeper, ongoing support, or focusing in on skill building for a single month with Advantage

  • Shifting into Skill Tree or other self-led learning if maintenance and enrichment are your focus

  • Or simply closing the loop with a solid plan and confidence moving forward

All private work begins with Guidance.

This ensures we start with shared understanding, clear priorities, and a plan that actually fits your dog and your life. This is a great place to start to get a taste of virtual training and identify the best next steps for you - whether that’s one-on-one coaching, group classes, or self-led resources.
