Looking for Group?
Group Programs with Like Magic
Small-group classes designed to build real-life skills, emotional resilience, and a better relationship between you and your dog.
These programs are for guardians who want support beyond one-off lessons — without committing to intensive one-on-one training. Classes combine structured material, live discussion, and practical application so learning actually translates into daily life.
Whether you’re laying foundations with a young dog or smoothing out friction with an adolescent or adult, these classes are built to meet you where you are.

If you’re unsure which program fits your dog — or if group learning is right for you right now — Guidance is the best place to begin with a 1×1 consultation before enrolling in a course.
Guidance includes a consultation, a personalized plan, and short-term coaching to help you decide what support will actually move the needle for your dog.
K9 Nosework Programs - From Intro to Expert - $185
Introduction to K9 Nosework, Odor Foundations, The Scent Circle
Nosework is one of the few structured activities that truly belongs to dogs.
It asks for focus without pressure, problem-solving without coercion, and engagement without constant direction. Done well, it builds confidence, communication, and independence - especially for dogs who need space to think, move, and choose for themselves.
Best for: Dogs with a nose ;)
Format: Small group cohort - live weekly sessions, pre-recorded course content, WhatsApp community conversation and video review
Next session: Introduction to Nosework and Odor Foundations, November 2026
What to expect:
Beginner-friendly Nosework foundations
Small class sizes
Dog-led problem solving
An emphasis on confidence, communication, and choice
This is not about titles or speed.
It’s about giving dogs meaningful work that supports who they are.
I’m personally drawn to Nosework because it centers the dog as an active participant in the work. Dogs learn to trust their own information, regulate their arousal, and move through challenges with purpose rather than urgency. For many dogs, it becomes a place of genuine joy. I’ve learned so much more about applying trust, communication, and regulation to my work in and out of classes with the Dog Driven Search method led by Sue Sternberg and Dana Zinn.
I am currently offering virtual Introduction to Nosework and the next level, Odor Foundations classes. These 6 week classes will be designed for dogs of all backgrounds, with a strong emphasis on emotional safety, agency, and sustainable skill-building.

Unleash your dog's natural sniffing superpower — from the comfort of home! This virtual 6 week Intro to K9 Nosework class builds the foundations of the search game using food, keeping things fun and low-pressure. No prior experience needed, just a curious nose and a willing handler. Great for all ages, breeds, and temperaments!
Finished Introduction to Odor or Druid Class? The Scent Circle is where you go from here. Assignments will move through categories loosely — vehicle searches, suspended and elevated hides, containers and inaccessibles, adding difficulty through distractors and blanks, handling challenges, and trial prep that goes beyond the search itself. Most weeks will ask you to find new search areas, new environments, new puzzles for your dog. The work stays interesting because the world is the classroom.
Odor Foundations takes those skills you learned in Intro to Nosework and transfers them to searching for more than food. We will introduce the NACSW oils: birch, anise, and clove and use the skills your dog has already built to teach them to search for - and start to tell you about - them. While we do so, we will continue to build your handling skills so you’re growing right alongside your dog.

Skill Tree - $29 / $59 per month
Training isn't a course you complete. It's a practice you return to.
Skill Tree is a rotating membership for dogs who are doing well — and owners who want to keep it that way. Not because something is wrong. Because the relationship is worth tending.
Trainers will say “enrichment is more than a food puzzle” and “a walk in the neighborhood won’t meet your dog’s energy needs - and that’s true! But how do you get there? That’s where Skill Tree comes in. Skill Tree offers a rotation of new skills, tricks, practices, activities, and training structure to keep your dog’s brain sharp, your relationship strong, and the two of you learning and working together successfully.
Best for: Dogs that need more to do, and teams that love to keep growing
Format: Rolling admission membership of auditors and coached practice- regular exercises, WhatsApp community conversation (with video review for coached spots)
Rolling admission open!
Audit · $29/month
Full access to the weekly curriculum and growing library. Self-paced, no submissions required. For the household that wants consistent, purposeful enrichment without obligation.
Supported Practice · $59/month

Is Skill Tree right for your dog?
Yes. It's for every dog. Because every dog deserves a relationship that keeps getting tended.
Skill Tree is a rotating practice membership cycling through six categories — Regulation, Communication, Real Life Skills, Confidence & Resilience, Handler Mechanics, and Integration & Play — with new content weekly. Wayfinder: The Compass - $195
Learn the map. Understand Your Dog.
Before skills, before training plans, before any of it — you need a framework. The Compass is where Wayfinder begins.
Six chapters covering the philosophy, language, and four cardinal directions behind the Wayfinder approach. Health and pain. Energy and arousal. Confidence, relationship, skill, and rest. Dense, lecture-based, and built to return to.
This is not a skills class. It's the map that makes everything else make sense.
The Compass is also included as a complementary self-led course to 1×1 Wayfinder clients.

Building a Bigger World
Building a bigger world: The Elite Quests
These programs are offered periodically and are designed for teams ready to go deeper into specific skillsets. They address specific manners goals, developmental states, or advanced handling and skillsets.
GRIT: Guided Rehabilitation for Independence Training - $549
Guided Rehabilitation & Integration Training
GRIT is centered around giving dogs—including reactive, over-aroused, or “big feelings” dogs—more access to freedom of movement in nature while coexisting safely around other dogs, people, and environmental triggers.
The goal is not direct interaction, but neutrality, decompression, and guided choices that prioritize environmental engagement rather than handler focus.
Crafted thoughtfully by three trainers and behavior consultants - Liz Cummins at Like Magic, Alyse Mineroff at Hungry Dog Training, and Charlotte Hoberg by Sit ‘n Stay Training.
Best for: Dogs with solid hiking experience but have trouble regulating when in a group
